Remember ladies, you cannot pour from an empty fountain. It’s a faith journey y’all!

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.  If you know someone who is suffering with depression, mental illness or suicidal thoughts, please assist them with getting the appropriate care.  Mental health and illness are not subjects we should take lightly.

In 2018, I am proud to serve as a Pearl Ambassador for National Wear Your Pearls Day, which is December 15th.  In the weeks to come, I’ll be highlighting Mental Health facts, events to support Mental Health initiatives, and interviewing individuals on this topic.  As an educator, I am taking on a task to have discussions with our teachers to help them better understand the students we serve and how schools and districts can be of more assistance and provide the appropriate level of support.  If you are interested in learning more about National Wear Your Pearls Day, please visit National Wear Your Pearls Day.
